Andrew Brown Muir with, on his left, his second wife, Rebecca, are at the centre of this family photograph taken in 1913 or early in 1914. Standing at the far left is Andrew's son, Rifleman John Muir (1st Bn., King's Royal Rifle Corps), who would die of wounds at the age of 19 on 23th September 1914.
