These pages commemorate the men and women of Accrington and District who gave their lives for their country during the Great War of 1914-1919. At present (January 2007) biographical notes are generally available only for those from Accrington, Altham, Baxenden, Church, Clayton-le-Moors, Great Harwood and Huncoat.
Ranks and army/regimental numbers have been taken from source 3 in preference to sources 2 or 4. Home addresses have generally been taken from source 2. Cemeteries and memorials are located in France, Belgium or the United Kingdom unless stated otherwise.
