Photograph by kind courtesy of Peter Bell This photograph of officers from the 11th Bn. East Lancashire Regt. (Accrington Pals) was possibly taken at Beauval early in 1917. Standing fourth from right is a French interpreter; standing seventh from right is 2/Lt. St. John Battersby; seated sixth from left appears to be Q.M. Hon. Lt. T.
